Inside of the toyota tool box

Wondering if you could school me on your toolbox upgrade, I just got one for my 2008 D-Cab. Thanks RM

Yeah man its really simple and makes the box much nicer. Head over to the Home Depot and get a 3' piece of indoor outdoor carpet (this should come in 10' or 12' width. get a roll of double sided carpet tape and a strait edge (a good strait 2X4 works) and a razor knife. This should set you back about $40.00 buck max. Stick the tape along the top of the box all the way around about 1/4 inch under the rail where the tray slides. Do the same 1/4 from the bottom and remember not to cover up the bolt holes. I measure, cut and dry fit my carpet before applying the tape. Remember to cut and install the bottom first so that your side pieces are exact. After you have it all stuck in feel for the three bolt holes and cut an X pattern to allow you to push the bold through. I used the supplied flat washers with mine as you see in the pic to help in supporting the carpet. after that grab some scrap pieces and cut to fit your tray. and your done. Should take you about an hour and you won't have stuff sliding around beating up your box are making you crazy. Keep in mind you can use tape or adhesive, the carpet tape works but might loosen in cold weather. I am in the military and use what we call breachers tape, stuff is awesome. If you want let me know and I will mail you a roll. I guarantee that will never let go. End state man, all your friends will give you shit when you carpet your box then after they see it you will find yourself doing all theres. Let me know if you need any further info or more detailed pics. As for other upgrades, get the skid plate, makes the front look sharp and you can pick one up on ebay for less than $180.00
