This is a dirt road back near the hunting grounds. On area A/C, take the loop road all the way around the airfield, past bass lake, and continue until you exit the a fence at the far end of the runway. Continue following the road, there will be a left turn back near the land fill, if you miss it the road will dead end and you'll have to turn around anyway. The dirt road takes you back to the runway where you go back through the fence.

There's also a little known area for offroading that actually has some obstacles. I've driven the short trail by myself, but have never tried the obstacles, and I wouldn't recommend it without a buddy. I heard about it via word of mouth and it looks like it used to be meant for wheeling as well as an access road for utilities. I've been back there when they recently mowed it down, but I've also been back there when they let the grass grow a couple feet tall. In other words, I'm not sure if it's an "open" trail, but I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for driving it...i.e. use at your own risk.

You can see the entrance/exits by small gravel run-offs at the edge of the road. The easiest entrance is right at the camping grounds where the RV's park. With the RV park on the left, the trailhead is on the right. You'll recognize it because the trail goes over a small water runoff/depression and continues off into the woods. Keep following it and you'll dump back out near where the C-5's are parked.
