      Gearcruncher, you sir are a THE MAN! Bent the linkage and broke the wiring off of this connector on my last solo outing. Your post here and the one on lever adjustment got me home over a hundred miles and back together, with an auto that shifts on it's own, in the same weekend. Many, many thanks!
