Hello, I've done a bunch of reading on here and it seems the more I read, the more confused I get!

I am looking to get more into camping and like the idea of an RTT. I recently saw the GFC Superlite and like that it seems easy to use, light enough to move myself and not too expensive.

Are there any opinions on this? I see on their website that order fulfillment isn't expected until November, so does that mean none are in the wild?

Finally, what else do I need? I assume some sort of bed or roof rack/rail system. Do I also need a base? I can see how this can get very expensive very fast. I'd like to be able to remove the tent and and rails and store them when not being used.

Thanks in advance. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Is your rig ready to handle 300lb? Plus camping gear o.o?

I’ve done a ton in the past but it’s always been ground tent and then RV camping.

No idea. My truck is a 2019 Pro. I really am in the weeds on this. I like the idea of doing all the setup and prep at home and having less to do once I’m there.

I highly recommend you upgrade your suspension. You can do a few runs with your pro suspension see how they handle and upgrade to your liking! I would hit up @HeadStrong Off-Road,

You will need a camper shell because it's too long for even a long bed Taco. Then you'll need a rack for that shell so it's going to add up.

I ordered an iKamper Mini about 3 weeks ago and still have 6-8 weeks left. It cost me $3,750.

Honestly I'm considering doing a refund and going the GFC route as I could get it plus the shell and rack for same price as the iKamper... But have a shell that I'd use a lot.

Don't assume you need to upgrade you're suspension... I ran a Tepui w/ 2 kayaks and gear on many trips with stock TRD OR suspension and no sag. All depends on your driving style and where you're going.
