2002 Power window problem

For the last 2 years. the drivers side power window, has been acting up. After you lower it fully, or part way, then you go to raise it, it will go, 1" or so, and stop. If you wait 10 seconds, it might then go another inch. If you waited 30 seconds or more, then it usually would go all the way up.

In the last month or so, it requires a lot longer of a wait, before it will go all thew way up. Like 3 minutes or so.

Curious if anyone has had the problem, and what the cure is?

I guess I will have to get to the switch plug and start poking holes with a test light.

Kind of think it is the switch, and maybe just replace it and see. Would ratere diagnose, then replace, or if it is a common symptom, of a bad sw. then replace it.

 

Have a mod move to 1st Gen?
