i had to leave for work and missed the second half. Curse the man. I totally missed the dutch comeback.

 

Well my bracket predictions have gone to shit no doubt...bunch of upsets in this WC.

 

Ghana got robbed. That guy's intentional handball kept out a for sure goal. This year's World Cup has been a HUGE joke and full of fail.

 

That was a HUGE disappointment. Flagrent fouls like that deserve long term suspensions/banning from play.

Should be an interesting end to the WC...Lots of room for review and improvement...

 

Damn I missed out on the end of this game. Gotta check it out on demand now. Hopefully it'll be up by tonight. I was rooting for Ghana on this one.

 

Argentina versus Germany tomorrow, I say Germany will win this one !

I think the handball was a smart play. Id rather leave a shot up to a PK rather than watch a ball cruise right past me. And what happened..he choked. Even though he came back and redeemed himself in PKs..it was a little too late.

 

Smart yes- Doens't make it any less disgraceful. That guy is a d-bag of a player. When you are beat- you are beat. And he, the other defender in the goal, AND the keeper were ALL beat.

 

But look who won. It is a bad move none-the-less.

A couple years ago I played in a tournament in hawaii for a freinds team and I was not used to palying in that type of humidity. I was the last defender for some reason. Some how a ball gets past me and so does a foward..what did I do..grab his jersey so he couldnt advace. My defenee regrouped..i received a yellow card and I knew I was going to get it. I saved my team a goal. As soon as he gets the free kick he puts it in the back of the net. Perfectly executed. He put away his shot. Ghana missed their golden opportunity.

 

Germany is gonna win it.

 

My money is on Argentina or Spain. Germany will choke.

If the US would have just won they would have gotten to the Semis if not the finals.

 

Sucks no doubt, but this goes up there right next to the fake ass dives and theatrics. I don't agree with any of that stuff either, but it's a part of the strategy.
