    Hey all-
I'm trying to buy some new tires and wheels for my truck. I've gotten so many conflicting answers that it's hard to know which way to go. I've got a 2012 Base 4WD Access cab. It's completely stock with no lift. I know I'm going to run 255 skinny's and my goal is to get the tallest tire without any rub.

My dilemma is between 16 or 17's and what wheel width? I've looked at many charts and don't know if I need offset for the wheels or not (among other things). I just want a taller setup. I apologize for my lack of knowledge. I did look at the info that LadyRed posted....good stuff.
    Any help out there?
