2012 USB Mod ????

Has anyone thought about or looked at installing some kind of USB hub to the factory audio system.

I have an old Ipod I leave hooked up to the system but I also use the phone to stream via bluetooth, which kills the battery life so I need to hook it up also. I would like to mount the Ipod in the glove box or center console and forget about it, and use the dash mounted USB plug to connect the phone.

I did a USB search but no luck.

that one is out of stock but im sure there are similar models. Works great for my needs.

 

You should just replace the whole head unit, it sounds a whole lot better.
