2022 Power steering issue.

I purchased the 2022 Sport two months ago. Last week trying to turn became difficult at times. Drove home and it was off and on again from normal to both arms turning the wheel with purpose. Took to Toyota today and they sent me home with a loaner.
I will update Monday when I hear anything.
Just in case this isn’t just mine I wanted to give a heads up.

 

Check the belt.

 

Pressure sensor not bumping the idle up?

 

Everything else seemed normal. They checked the belt, checked for leaks and nothing so far. Said they will call me Monday after more technicians and Toyota gets back with them.

 

Toyota dealer contacted me back. They found metal particulates in the fluid. They are rebuilding the entire power steering for the truck and should be able to pick it up tomorrow if everything goes well.

 

My power steering isn’t working on my 2/ TRD Sport. Just brought it home last week. Yikes!

 

Any idea on the source of metal particulates?
