2024 Running Boards

Hey all, looking at the Go Rhino Dominator Xtreme D6 SideSteps to replace my stock Predators that I really don't like. There's a $100 difference between getting the Go Rhinos that mount to the rocker panels vs. frame mounted. I am a off-road neophyte looking to get into light to moderate trails (1 to 5 on the OnX scale). In my brain frame mounted has to be beefier/more preferred, but it's bolt on brackets regardless (I have no welding chops), have to drill holes into the frame for the frame mount whereas the rocker panel brackets bolt into existing holes. Thanks in advance for thoughts/recommendations.

 

If anyone need TRD running board in socal just let me know. I have new take off 3 days old Tacoma double cab. Its $500.
