30k service voiding warranty

My 2011 tacoma ac sport is about to roll over 30K and I am having a hard time finding the answer through a search... I bought the extended warranty for my truck and want to know if doing the 30K service on my own will have any possible bad outcomes such as voiding the warranty. Thanks for the help!

 

To void a warranty, Toyota would have to prove that a particular service or lack of service caused the problem that is in question. Go ahead and change the plugs, diff oils, and oil/filter change and keep track of it somehow. I keep the receipts.

 

If you used anything but OEM parts I could see it. But then again how the F will they know if the fluids are OEM or not. Like the oil, and other fluids at MAZDA are not MAZDA brand, just the synthetic oil is.

 

But wait, this is an aftermarket warranty, so it falls under contract law. Read your warranty contract very carefully to figure out coverage and coverage limitations.
