I'm getting ~20mpg with my 33x10.50s and power seems fine with stock gears and AT.

    regear to 4.88 if you're a 2.7L
    or 4.56 if you're 3.4L (which I doubt since I was getting 18 mpg on 33's).

    Or step down to 31's

20mpg corrected for tire size?? We have pretty much the same truck setup; 3" lift, double cab, V6, AT, bumpers, sliders, 32's (mine)/33's (yours) and my truck gets 16-17 corrected mpg. Mine has over 170k but I can't imagine that would make too much difference. Maybe my truck needs a tune up or a step up to 33's :D The power isn't bad at all with 32's so I was thinking of going with 33x10.50 BFG AT's or KM2's as well.

Not correcting anything. Just calculating on odo mileage and number of gallons put into the truck when I fill up.

I think it has a lot to do with how I drive. I commute 60+ miles each day on the highway and if I cruise at 65mph I can get 20mpg pretty consistently. If I run closer to 75mph then it drops to 17-18mpg. But on a recent wheeling trip I had a 6 hour drive on the highway getting to where we started wheeling. Truck was fully loaded for a week of camping and a RTT mounted over the bed and I got 21mpg.

That makes me believe that lower RPM's on the freeway nets you better gas mileage than higher RPM's. Of course this depends on hills and if there is a head wind but it makes sense! If you aren't correcting your mileage for your tire size, then you are traveling more miles than what your speedo says so you're probably getting better MPG than you think. (I think that's how it works) Sounds like I need a tune up and 33's! :D

They aren't bad at all. Not as smooth on the road as my old 32x11.50 All Terrains, but that's to be expected with a more aggressive tire. Also a little more noise than the AT's but nothing bad. Much quieter than the Goodyear MTRs that I had a couple years ago.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

that's a 33x10 a 265x85x16 would be the only way to have a 10.5" tire but it's going to be 33.74" so that might be a little big for you.

    just get a true 33x10.5x16

I have 255/85's..all I gotta say is, I'm not ever getting anything wider than these ever. They are perfect.

Meh, close enough. Go ahead and find me a 33x10.5R16 ;) That .5" difference is negligible considering the same size tire but different manufacturers will vary more than .5" in every direction.

Agreed. That's why I have 15's, not 16's. Tires and rims are cheaper :D
