Ya Tacomas tend to wear the tires like that because the specs are a fairly high amount of positive camber which combined with toe makes these trucks wear the tires like that. I rotate my tires every oil change and do my own alignments. Interestingly if you run less that 32psi you don't really get that wear but... fuel economy quickly tanks and less than 30 will wear both outside edges

Well, I'm thinking would it be better to rotate not based upon mileage but when the rear tires are worn so the feathering is gone. It could take 7500 to 10000 miles.

Unless you modify your tire pressures the rears will wear the middle mostly likely and fronts will still wear the edge. Cross the fronts left to right and rears straight forward each tire and it'll even it out

Not sure if anyone has mentioned driving style? Cornering hard? I’ve had plenty of Subarus leases I drove like I stole and wore the heck out of the tires.

Buying this truck so babying it mostly. I turn and corner modestly- no issues (23 SR DCDB, 5000 miles also)

Usually tire wear from cornering is just rounding off of the edges whereas the cupping/feathering/ toe-heal wear of the tread block being more worn on the trailing edge that i'm understanding this to be is from excessive toe and will show up on the outside or inner edge of the tire depending on if camber is set positive or negative and over time can be seen to gradually wear on a taper the whole tire from edge to edge

I am going for the 15000 mile service(tire rotation and fluid check) on Tuesday. I believe they rotate front to back and criss cross the rears. What tire pressure would you recomend? I'll give anything a try for 5000 miles.
