How thick is the MDF on your 3rd gen sub boxes? Thinking of trying my hand at building my own.

Im using 1/4 plywood for my box, but It is reinforced from the inside with some bracing and then a layer of fiberglass mat.

Remember, the more angles a box has, the stronger it can be with thinner wood. Thick wood is generally only needed for large flat surfaces.

If it were me I'd recommend 1/2" minimum, but depending on what type of setup you're planning 3/4" would be even better.
