He did 6 chickens like it was nothing.. Kid has more money than Dad.... He had bluetooth to his phone, can do everything with it.. Solid too, heavy rig..

Good morning TW. And happy belated Easter too. Hope y'all have been doing well. Just back from wind blown west Tejas. Steady 10-20 mph with gust in the 30s..or more! Called it a day early up on guale mesa and headed down to the river for light winds and bats. Good times with my little man. Put the tacoma through the paces for sure. The old wagon trail leading down to guale camp left much to the imagination on getting down and then back up the damn hill due to a ledge in the middle of the trail. Skids? No, I'll never need that crapola is what I thought just prior to this trip. The stock "splash guard" was crushed...beat it back into shape after leaving camp and verified nothing broken. Oh so close to ripping that fumoto valve right off though - I mean close. "Spotter"?...would have been nice and I could probably have made it over the drop-off unscathed. Me and my son will be practicing this "spotter" stuff out here on our place before we head back out there. We've got plenty of rock!

HIGHLY recommend Big Bend Ranch state park. Talk with Craig Howell (park superintendent) if you're headed that way. He and his staff have customer service down to a science. I'll never see the entire park in my life time but I'm dang sure going to try.

And yes, always over build for what you think you need. My skids and rock rails are beat to hell.

Thank you and yes sir it was awesome. We're more of beach kind of folks but I have become addicted to the desert southwest. We were 2 week early from a full-on spring bloom too. Skids on order and will be biting the bullet and upgrading suspension next. This purpose built truck will stay just that. We've got much more to see out there.
