We lost count and the best I can come up with looking Back at the pictures is over 20 in the net. And I don’t know how many long distance releases and a bunch of straight up misses. Probably my best day ever.

Good morning everybody! We are going up river today but I have little doubt Emma will put me on them again today she knows her business. And we will have Josh along again today he is doing a documentary on Emma she does work with intercity kids giving them an opportunity to experience the outdoors and fly fishing. IMG_4644.jpg
Josh works for trout unlimited and he has promised to send me some of his shots.

What is this thing called "rain" y'all keep going on about?

I mowed Friday after work, so I could lounge in "sunny and 75" all weekend. Put a chair out between the avocado and orange trees, get out my BugASalt rifle, and watch the cloud roll by.

Good afternoon everybody. I hope you all had a good weekend and today has been in the plus column too. I got some camping in this weekend (sort of). It was a ham radio event called field day, my club set up in a local park all weekend and ran radios for 24 hours. Other than the heat and bugs it wasn’t too bad lol.

Today, I took the boat to the club. Raised the mast and got her in the water out on the mooring. I have to mount the boom (easy - single bolt) and hang the sails sometime this week. Tomorrow has strong thunderstorms in the forecast for the afternoon so I don’t think it would be a good idea to do it then…

No, no, no! Thunderstorms are the BEST time to sail. Great winds! I friend of mine years ago told me when he lived in Galveston, they would sail in the Gulf with thunderstorms rolling in. I casually asked about lightning protection...so he said they would clamp one end of a jumper cable to the mast and let the other end drag in the water. Never got hit. LOL.
