Bring a pad for the conversation with Dr after you will not remember what he says . Get with the dietician for list of recommended foods there are clear liquid protein and caloric drinks that are not milk based which it sounds like might be a good thing Nestle makes them .

She needs to get through today before she starts worrying about the scar and the job. Keep her focused, women tend to overthink things...sorry Sue. You need to distract yourself, easier said than done, my ADD makes that impossible, I usually nap.

As far as the last comment, no we wont.

Good luck, you are both in my thoughts.

I can’t imagine your situation but I know that feeling when faced with those issues that are beyond our control. For me trying to stay occupied looks as if I’m preparing for a natural disaster. Check lists, supplies, meds, backups and anything else that pops into my head. It’s hard to find distractions for our minds. Thoughts and prayers to your family.

I am fully appreciating having the volume on my phones turned down...some people just can't seem to understand that I'm off and don't want to be screwed with.

Still in hunt for a battery for feeder but don't want to miss the sheetrock guy.
I'm able to do a nice job at it now but have way too much on my plate. Hate to pay someone for something I can do.

The waiting is the hardest part for me, you have a long day of waiting Mike. You both are in my thoughts today. The physical part is bad enough but sometimes I think the mental is worse and wish more places focused on that to help patients and family members.

So true, even having someone else there to listen helps later to go over what was said.
Your time off is more than deserved. Hope you get a chance to recharge.
