Still in surgery. Long time for a pimple...
But need to get it out and check outer areas.

Tuesday and Wednesday might call for a light jacket but the rest of the days are short sleeve. I can only imagine someone used to 100+ would want a heavy coat at 65F

 

It wouldn't take long for at least a hoody. But once winter gets here I'm good with just long sleeves. I still seem to climatize pretty fast between the seasons.

 

Every spring I get a new straw/palm western hat to help keep me shaded during summer. I usually get through with just one. But this one is already sweat stained and dirty so I may have to get another before September.

One thing I am appreciative of here is the wind. Very few days here are still. Most of the time it's 5-10 mph. Just enough to keep from feeling stagnant. We do get the 10-20 mph variety, usually in the evenings, and they help knock down the heat a touch.

 

Up at my new place they have Sundowner winds daily from about noontime just after Sunset . These winds are year round and makes the warmer summertime temps more enjoyable

Given the option you've taken of moving up the hill, I would've done the same. Better scenery, less idiots. I'd think that area is more susceptible to the monsoons than down below. The season officially starts in a week or 2, but July/August is usually more realistic. The sky shows get pretty awesome with the storm clouds and lightning. I'm not a fan of the humidity but it's a pretty cool show.

Had to cut deeper on the tongue than he thought. But pathology looks clean now. Doesn't seem to think any intrusion into other places but took nodes and gland. So testing everything in case.
Will see her in about 45 min.

Yep the High Desert has some very nasty storms during Monsoon season and have been told by friends the Thunder storms produce wild lightning strikes
