LOL still haven't eaten breakfast. Did take the ice chest out to the truck, looking for my tie downs, dug out some old water bottles to freeze (and order a few more that fit my Wings Works hunting vest) and now looking at how to replace the batteries in my old Maverick remote read thermometer to hook up to the crate. Bacon....

This or if someone called and said their paper was soaking wet or buried in the snow you got to walk back out there or ride your bike if it was just raining and hand deliver a new one on your dime. I hated Sundays and Fridays before holidays etc that was a two trip day no way to carry the Globe or Herald for all 43 people at once.

Home made peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes and my kids helped make them. Time to replace belts on the tractor and get some grass cut.

Thought about posting this on face book as a joke but didn't want to scare my girl friend too much.

I have been hearing weird noises in the attic and in one of the rooms. Sometimes I hear a sound like a leg being dragged across the floor, or someone coughing and wheezing like when some one dies.

The other night an old woman showed up and explains that long ago, a husband, wife, son and daughter lived in the house. They took in the local school teacher as a renter for the year. The wife thought the husband was falling in love with the school teacher, and she started to hate her husband. They argued all the time. After a few months, they hated each other so much, they wanted to kill each other.

One night, in a fit of rage, the husband grabs his axe and swings at his wife, ready to kill her. He plunges the axe into her heart. As she dies, he tries to say he’s sorry, but she just laughs. “Fair’s fair,” she cackles. “I’ve been poisoning you and the children for weeks!” Sure enough, the man, son and daughter dies that very night of arsenic poisoning.

And the old woman who told this whole story? She’s the school teacher who started it all. Some people say she got the couple to kill each other on purpose so she could inherit their house. And now, some people say, she’s here to kill us and take back the house that’s rightly hers….

Well, someone mentioned going to the store. My wife has mentioned it twice already. Im ignoring her. I don't wanna go, especially with her. Did it for years just to keep her company, and she gets grouchy in the store. Now I avoid it. She talking about making Chorizo for breakfast. Think she's trying to butter me up?
Think Im going to try to derp my grill today. Maybe remove some chrome emblems. I dunno.
I gotta get a pic of my broke tent ladder.
I found out the trail I wanted to do and camp out on is definitely the trail my buddy ran yesterday. He says you need a permit for it. Im pissed. Now it doesn't sound like as much of an adventure. Ill still do it, but some of the excitement has rubbed off.

    Ru kidding me?
Pull it off the vine. Cut the ends. Some cold water rinse. Down the hatch plain or with a touch of salt. I have been known to drive by on the mower and forgo all that and just pick and eat..

I used to think that you should be able to like some posts more than once. This is in a category above and beyond that however!

 About time to switch from baked beans to green beans here.

Didn't want anyone to think I was addicted to bacon or something like that so didn't put up pictures on this thread from earlier in the week.

First cook some bacon. Common theme LOL. And cut up an onion and some of those homemade Canadian Bacon ends from back in January. Then when you add the beans they can finally be called beans and bacon. With a touch of Maple Syrup.

    beansBacon.jpg

    beansBaconCBOnion.jpg

Ate a lot of those growing up and loved them. With salt and a thick layer of mayo on white bread that would stick to the roof of your mouth. And they were awesome!

My fathers favorite midnight snack was cold baked beans on a white bread sandwich. And ketchup. There is that white bread thing again.
