    Question for my age group;
    I've been with my employer for just over 1 yr now. Great job, good benefits and I work from home, travel as I choose to on their dime.
    I did $2.1mm in sales last year. Best the territory ever did in their 5 yrs they've been in the market. I double the best year of 2015, from that point on it was a steep decline. I have my reason for why too, which I will bring up later.
    This year I've already done $1mm so I should get close to my goal of $4mm by year end.
    Problem: I believe I am being targeted by my supervisor because of the salary and benefits I've negotiated which may be more than he is making. Most recently I asked him to contact a brand new customer of mine who received product that was within 3 weeks of expiring. Typical shelf life of our product is 6 months. So a new customer as you would expect is alarmed and what he purchased. Now my boss says it's OK and to tell my new customer it's OK. I do but, I try to explain to my boss that it's a new customer and their PERCEPTION is we may not be very good to deal with. I ask my boss to please contact my customer. He says, "Give them my number and have them call me." The customer calls 3 x's in 2 days and leaves 2 messages on his phone with NO RESPONSE.

    So do I;
    1) contact my boss again via email and request he call the customer
    2) go up the chain of command and tell our President
    3) contact HR and explain what's going on
    4) tell customer to keep blowing up his phone 'cause he's an A'hole and doesn't understand customer service.

    Thus is my theory of why this company lost so many customers in 5 yrs and revenue dropped below $400K until I showed up.
    I'm thinking of beginning a new job search because I don't like working like this. I take care of my customers. This company does not.

    Then take care of your customer.

    I haven't seen much updates since the chopper had to turn back. I think that thing holds a lot of gas.

    This and give the customer his home number.

    Sounds like yer working for the Schmuckateli Bros. Ifen they really want to turn their stuff around and be considered a reliable source then they have to be considerate of the customers. I work in a service oriented business as well your customers are what pays the bills. You should document what the jamoke supervisor is up to. Ifen he’s bent over your deal that’s his tough luck. He should do a better job of negotiating his terms.
