The idea that you could be somebody’s mother is kinda scary and I don’t think that having somebody call you a mf’er makes you qualified, at least it didn’t for me

Good Morning Chris, I’d like to chime in with my setup using the same mount. It’s solid. Mines mounted to the far left vent.

The mount I used is for the 3rd gen HVAC vent. It is a ring that grabs the inside of the vent. The rest of the setup is Ram Ball mounts. On my 2nd gen I used a bracket from Bird-Dawg Industries that screwed in just below the HVAC controls. Both systems use the the Ram Mounts, sold separately.
    WWW.HONDOGARAGE.COM. ,3RD GEN
    WWW.BIRD-DAWG INDUSTRIES.COM. ,2ND GEN
WWW.RAMMOUNT.COM. , For all the device mounts
Here is a pic of my 2ND GEN setup, I hope this helps.BB60B01E-7EF2-4377-A8FB-DA8175BC2309.jpg

That’s nice Jimi, I like the short arm on the Ram Mount. I used my old set up with the 3” arm, it is a bit wobbly. I need to order the shorter arm.
