I was just outside changing a burn out light bulb on side porch. Wind picked up and I started seeing snow flakes. This October weather is more like mid November.

I see clear skies to the west now. Hopefully the wind calms down and stays out of North West. Neighbor said he saw 20 deer in the field north of me last night.

Thought y'all might get a kick out of this, esp. anyone who is currently car shopping.

I've done a lot of rehab work in my 100 year-old 2 unit building, and I've found little interesting items here and there. When I pulled the original door casing off the back kitchen door, I found this business card had slipped back there and gotten stuck by an errant drip of paint.

    ford1_0001.jpg

The dealer is long gone, but it reminded me that I had seen a Chevrolet "sales training film" from the 40's in which the salesman walked door-to-door, selling cars, or at least drumming up interest. I can imagine a sales guy knocking on the door and then the resident taking his card and sticking it in the slot between the casing and the wall, where it slipped in back and stayed for another 80 years or so. I've got a few other interesting items I have to get around to scanning too. Unfortunately, no hidden jewelry stash or stock certificates. Yet.

The Toller in my avatar has since passed over the rainbow bridge. My "new" (almost 5) Toller is out of a kennel in ND called Skylark. When I got him the breeder wanted to keep all the litter mates name with something to do with the sky, or the heavens as she put it.

Wanted Nova for a call name so that worked. Not an S2 but still a sub chaser I came up with Orion for the P3.

    Skylark's Orion Nova

Snowing here too. Tired and wore out still trying to finish up the box for the Ranger, laundry, pack, hell don't even have my hunting license yet. Was planning to head to the North Shore at O'Dark thirty in the morning. Have a cabin rented for 2 weeks starting tommorow. Taking a break and sitting down trying to warm up and kind of hit me there is no real rush. I am on vacation, finally.

    Dear world,
I am extremely sorry I am not as technologically advanced as the rest of you. I apologize for my stupidity when it comes to things like email and how to print out the pdf file you emailed to me, which I received on my phone. However, that apology being said, I have to say I believe that running a buisness by email is extremely inefficient. And if you cannot be patient with me and my caveman ways and feel the need to be a dick and scream at me and be sarcastic and ridicule me, then you can go fuck yourself. You are lucky it isn’t 10 or 15 years ago because I would have beat you’re ass till you needed an extended hospital stay.
    Sincerely, Me
