    Good morning. First day back to work after being off chasing birds with the dog for 2 weeks. Not sure there is enough coffee in the house to find my motivation, mentally I'm still in the woods. Already have half a dozen meeting invites for the day, hell it will take me the rest of the week to just catch up on emails at this rate. Plus try to get some actual work done.

    Know for a fact that I am getting old now, forgot my damn password to log into work this morning. The one that gets me into the other ~40 passwords that I have.

    I'm surprised the hospital doesn't use some form of Common Access Card and PIN system. I guess I take that for granted these days?

    @Taco Buggy

    Chance .... are you anywhere near the "Getty Fire" on the Sepulveda pass ???? . Just heard on the news the fire is now advancing towards the San Fernando valley . The fire has already burned 610acres with six houses lost

    :wave: Rob. Access cards are not sterile and can't be used in operating rooms and other clean rooms so not an option. We have other methods and ways. Have to, the Chinese and other Nation States are constantly trying to breach the front door with brute force. Although they deny it of course even though they don't even try to hide it.

    Afternoon Everyone !!!! :hattip:

    Watching my local afternoon news and the "Getty Fire" possibly started from a high voltage power pole . Officials found a charred / burned pole near where the fire was to have believed started

    If this is found to be true LA Water and Power will start turning off power to more homes and businesses just as PG&E and SCE has done

    Tell me again why this is fun?

    Good afternoon. Got home a couple hours ago. Threw in a load of clothes. The wife is going shopping since the fridge is empty. Get to go check out a stuck dozer tomorrow and come up with a recovery plan.

    It's not. Driving sucks - roads are solid ice, came home at 40mph max. I just shoveled my driveway and I can't feel my face or my ass.
    Supposed to be below zero tonight. Can't wait to see what the roads are like tomorrow!

    My semi retired neighbor has a UTV with a plow and he takes care of the snow for me usually. I don't think he's got the plow on it yet this year. I'll have to harass him and tell him I'm withholding payment (cookies)

    But I don't do well in heat either. :notsure:
    I do fully plan on being a snow bird when the time comes for me to retire in a couple more decades.
