Well I think they might have replaced something because pieces of ply edges and slivers and 2 full shingles were inside.
The vent ridge is the only spot they could have dropped something in without having a bigger opening.
Again, not their fault. Plus the garage was locked and boxes were locked. Bike and boat were covered.
Just keeping honest people honest. Nails were under the tires of the bike and trailer.
I need to look a little closer today cause I was trying to get it cleaned a little. After work if I have any energy I’ll do another round on it..
But very happy with the quality of the finished product and how it looks now with both house and garage looking the same....

    Thanks Scott.
Yea it’s getting a little tough.
For us with humidity, temps around 90 here are oppressive.

Morning everyone, the warmer weather this week kick my butt, not used to the heat yet. Typical weekend in store, yard work, car cleaning, house cleaning, wife and I are real “party animals “. Have a good one folks.

He’s able to stay in his house and they’ll come to him as long as possible until he needs long term 24hr care. They have an entire floor at a local hospital for if/when that happens. He told me he doesn’t want to go to the nursing home and I’m doing my best to keep him out of there. Unfortunately my two sisters don’t see it that way and it’s put a bit of a strain on the family. I guess that’s why dad made me both his POA and health care advocate. Now if I could just get them to accept the aides coming into the house...

I liked this for the boat in the water comment, not your Dad going to Hospice. Good thoughts to you as you deal with your Dad.

    Morning all
My mom stayed in the house and refused help. Then she fell, went to the emergency room, where the gave her morphine for the pain and wiped out most of her memory.
She is now in a nursing facility with 24 hr care, she has the same personality and is fully functional, but she dosent remember her husband of 56 years, his passing or the house she lived in for 59 years.

Her 95th birthday is in a few days
She told me she thought she was 197.

And now the kid woke me up at 0230, said his shoulder hurt, and he dosent know why.

That means he had another seizure.

    Good Morning Folks
Rain on and off today :rain:

    Good luck with the boat:thumbsup:

Sorry to hear about your dad.
We went through this 2 years ago with my mom. It's not easy. Having to make decisions that you never thought you would have to do. My brothers and I were all able to agree on the decisions. For a long time I felt guilty about the decision we made.
Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

Good morning All, tried to sleep in - was wakened at 0615 by the boys to go out. it was 36 and damp from all the rain yesterday. Going to get warm today (mid 70's - that is warm for us). At least it didn't thunder snow yesterday, that always gets the dogs going nuts.

    Have a great day everyone

Wishing you all the best with caring for your Dad. Family at times can be a real problem when it comes to taking care of Mom and Dad. My BIL didn't do squat for his parents including helping to cleaning out their house after they passed but damned if he didn't show up with his hand out DEMANDING his share of the estate. Family... sheesh. Take care of Dad and prayers for you both.
