The earthquakes definitely jiggled that stuff loose, it’s going to happen where we cut roads through mountains.

Some of that is hard to predict and work with. Some slides never move again and some never stop. Most, if they know what's happening, let it fail but usually have a plan and/or detour. It's easier, less costly and far safer to just let it fail. Know of a couple blue clay slides that have caused state and county crews grief for years. Just not always easy to deal with.

Assembled 2 shelving units for the wife's Mary Kay room. Cut the grass today.
We're looking at Airbnb's for possible trip to Minneapolis. The Covid 19 is the big thing if we go or not.

 

Made it out to the boat. No issues due to tropical storm Fay. It was a bit windy on the water - sustained at 15knots with stronger gusts. White caps on the water off shore.

 

Just stepped outside for a few minutes. Light colored clothes, hat, sunglasses, well hydrated, well climatized to the desert (10 1/2 years). Guess what. 118 degrees is f'n hot!

 

I went outside at 6am. I was all done at 9am...

Just hope I don’t have a fuel pump recall first thing this morning.
Has happened the past two work days.
Then I smell like gas all day.
Make sure your tanks are 1/4 full and any non truck application make sure your car is cleaned out especially the rear seat and back on a suv.
It’s a PITA recall and anything the customer can do to have some respect for us and help us out is appreciated.
