Lots of people have asked. I haven't read a thread where someone had the balls to do it. Someone's gotta be the first. It might as well be you!

    Is the motor blown?
Why not supercharge the already reliable engine. :notsure:

Few threads on here talk about it.
I think this ttora thread has one actually done but I didn't read full thread cause I'm not interested in doing the swap. Good luck and make sure to take lots of pics and do a write up here on tacomaworld.

It always seems we get a teaser, and not much else.
Dunno if they are all in jail somewhere or drove into trees.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
In this day and age, it's easier and cheaper to just buy a V8 equipped truck. There's a guy around here that put a 4.7 into a first gen. Personally, if I was going to spend that kinda money, I'd go all out and swap in a twin turbo 2JZ Supra engine that will walk all over 9 out of 10 V8's out there. There's hopped up Supras that will leave a Lamborghini like it's sitting on blocks, pretty impressive considering the 2JZ can handle up to a 1000hp on stock internals. Toyota power!
