I recently had 88rotors install my 6112/5160 combo. It went in pefect and they did an excellent job.

Im set to 4/3 and the truck is level. But now, I'd like to raise my rear up and they offer there own brand add a leaf.

My question is, has anyone purchased there house brand add a leaf? Any issues or concerns? My experience with them was excellent. But I have never added a leaf or raised a truck up so I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with there add a leaf.

    Thanks!

Hows everything holding up? Im looking to get the same set up installed by them to clear 285's are you running a larger tire? Also was wondering if your TSS features stayed in tact. Thanks.

I never ended up getting a new rear leaf. I keep it at the 4:3 setting and left the rear stock leafs in. Rides REALLY GOOD. I noticed a huge difference in ride quality going from 5/6 it was installed at to 4/3. TSS worked fine at both front heights of lift. I even have an Amazon trd grill. No issues what so ever. My KO2 tires are OEM sized 265/70/17

The truck has since moved to upstate NY for my son to use while stationed there. So far one winter on the stocks and nothing is rusted. It lives outside in a cold snowy parking lot now. And we have not had a single issue with the stocks.

If I was to do this again. I would probably just use a rear 1" block and move the front to 5/4. I know I know. Blocks are not the way to do it. But figuring out what leaf to get, what brand, how high its going to jack the rear up. Will it ride nice? Its a bit much. And with the block, you can figure out how much lift you get with them so much easier. Plus they are cheap and easy to install. Would I liked to have got a AAL? Yes. But no one could positivity tell me how much lift they would give. So I gave up and accepted how it looked as is.

    Things I noticed.

    6/5 setting is jarring
    5/4 much nicer ride
    4/3 buttery smooth!

Good luck man! The guys at 88 are very nice and Ive had nothing but great experiences with them.

They are excellent. When I got mine first installed, they did 6/5 (highest) setting. It came out bro nosed. When I said I wanted it lower, they said no problem and put it right back up on the rack to adjust. Ive been to many 4x4 and sport car shops. These guys are priced competitively, responsive to your needs, and they did great work. They even marked all the bolts they touched.

I got my kit from headstrong offroad, which happened to be on the way from my house to 88 Rotors. So if you need the parts, I would hit them up. They had the best price in town when I got my kit.
