Hey guys, I have a large corporate function taking place in April which will require me to be in the Bothell, WA area for about 3 weeks. So I was thinking, instead of dropping all that dough on a hotel room, I will take my '16 Tacoma on an adventure. I would be departing from Idaho.

My wife thinks I am crazy (nothing new there) but I think it would be fun. It also might be just what I need, hit the "reset" button, so to speak, and shut off all the noise and BS. I could leave my daily functions and head off to my camp site.

The problem I am running into is that I do not know the area or where to look for a spot. I also know that a lot of those RV parks will not allow a truck tent. For all I care, I just need a trail I can hit and find a little area to set up.

Any of you guys have any ideas?

I have been looking at some of those truck bed tent kits and the Napier one seems pretty nice.

I live in the 98011. How close of a drive do you want to be to your function? Side note, your company isn't paying for a hotel?
