I installed a new stereo this weekend and i thought it went pretty smoothly. Hooked everything back up and the ac no longer works. No blower, no cool air no lights on that side, nothing. The light to the center temp dial, the left directional dial all light up. I checked the fuse and it was fine, even switched it out for good measure. Plugs appear to be in good condition. I disassembled the unit and re-assembled and everything seems to be in good working order. Anybody have any ideas.

Sounds like you missed a plug or something when reconnecting.

It was working ----- You installed a stereo ----- Now it don't work = Undo what you did and you will probably find something.

Did you check both fuse boxes? One under the hood and one behind the change pooka.

Yes I checked both fuse boxes. Both the 7.5a and the 15a fuses were replaced for good measure. I disassembled the air conditioner control unit and everything seemed to be in good working order. The only thing off hand that I question is the wiring of the stereo but I have no idea what that would have to do with the AC. Stock stereo had a total of three plugs. New stereo using provided adapter had only two plugs. A power/ground/front speaker plug and a rear speaker plug. There was one remaining plug with I believe 3 wires on it not used. I researched on here and it seemed that most didn't use these either. Then there was one plug for the hazard light assembly, and two for the AC control. I'll disassemble the whole thing tonight to see if I find anything obvious. Thanks for the advise.

No luck. All plugs plugged in, all wires attached to plugs, all fuses checked. Anything else thatwould cause the ac to notwork? All lights except the actual ac button illuminate. Is there a relay that was possibly damaged? I remembered to disconnect the battery when working on the stereo but did forget at first when unplugging the ac control
    Thanks
    Darren
