I believe the service campaign wasn’t established until 2020, OP should have plenty of time to get it done. I can’t see Toyota opening and closing a service campaign in two years.

I had till June 2021 for the recall on my 2012 (first time of use 4 June 2012, made early 2012). I think the recall was good for 10 year after first use so for any 2012 left i'm sure que recall is closed unfortunatly....

If i remember i think the Tundra had similar recall in 2018 and i think some ppl in the US got a letter for the Tacoma mid 2018. I'm sure there some post around here near these date talking about the letter they received in the mail about this recall.

Update. I’m not sure how long I haven’t noticed since that the check engine light and trac off lights turned off. I smashed the gas to see if I was still in limp mode and I could definitely tell I got my acceleration back. I already ordered the bypass kit and pressure sensor. Not sure if I should just install it anyway in case this is a fluke or get a refund. Anybody had a delayed fix like this before?

It can come and go. Every time you start it COLD the system runs and the computer is checking the valve and pump functionality. If the valves are gummed up they might pass, but over time it will only get worse.

You could also buy an ultra gauge and just clear the code. Once the truck is warm the system doesn’t run on subsequent starts and so the computer doesn’t check. As far as I know.
