    Anyone try sand blasting or similar for a different texture? My house key is rubbing against the body transferring little bits of metal to it and generally damaging the smooth texture.

    i wonder if it would be possible to add a notch to the case so you can clip a ring to the case itself instead of the actual key. i've had my 4runner fob pop off the key once and had to go looking for the fob, freaked out that i lost the $380 fob instead of the key. on the tacoma oem fob they have a notch cut out opposite of the key to slip a metal keyring.
