Looking good Sidewinder. You'll have to get out with us on some offroad trips.

For some reason I think we won't have to worry about telling Sidewinder to give it more Parker! Just a hunch.

Paul, my boss met your dad yesterday and it was determined through them that we knew each other. Just one of those smaller world type things I felt like sharing. 7 degrees of separation.

Figured I would throw it out here one more time, if anyone wants the tires and can get them this weekend I will sell them for $400 for all 4. If no sell this weekend prob won't end up selling them and just spend money on other mods.

265/75r16 E rated Goodyear authority with about 1000 miles on them. No cuts or bruises.

I was stuck on Red Mountain for a while, too... Not b/c I couldn't drive, but b/c nobody else could. I left work right before 11:00 and wasn't able to get to my daughter at daycare until 6:30. I wasn't able to make it home, though, and stayed with the mother of my college roommate. My daughter and I finally made it back home to the wife/mommy at noon Wednesday. Nothing like a 25 hour commute.

I sold my Tacoma last January and moved into a Subaru Outback. I loved my Tacoma, but family needs trumped my own wants. Anyway, if any of you guys find yourselves in a similar situation and need to move into a car, I highly recommend a Subaru. I couldn't go all the places a 4x4 Tacoma could go, and I sure wasn't going to pull anybody out of a ditch, but there were several times during the storm when I was the only person driving. I shuttled people around as I could while heading to the daycare and then attempting to get to my house. The car handled hills, turning, accelerating, etc. like a f'king champ.

During my commute home, I stopped at my dad's office (Protective Life Corp) on Highway 280 near Brookwood mall. I actually had to drive East in the West-bound lane of 280 to get to the entrance. While I was there, I went to the top floor and took this picture:

    Snowpocalypse2014.jpg

If you're familiar with the area, I was facing East and Brookwood Mall was just out of the picture to the right. The intersection with the big cluster is Highway 280 and Cherokee Road, and the ramp you can see on the right leads to/from Lakeshore Drive.

I've been around awhile. I just lurk a lot more than I post. Me and sides are down for some off-roading trips and modding sessions. I'm actually in the process of piecing together a lift right now.
