    I'm looking for some mild to moderate trails around B'ham. Currently I've been going to Stony Lonesome but would like to find some closer trails, free would be nice. And are there any group rides coming up? Roll Tide

    try a search on here, Talladega Skyway. not the best directions but take 280 east towards auburn. Go to east 23rd street in Sylacauga head east on it/143. go about 11 miles if I remember correctly. road is 600-1, I think. you'll pass a 600 road go past it. if it has a boat launch sign your're on the 600 road. 600-1 will be at the top of a hill on you're left. there is a road just before it with a small parking area and info for hunters. if you come to county road? 7 turn around. should be youre first right coming back. I got my directions from an article by some girl written in 2012. Her and her boyfriend did it in a Honda element. I don't see how. for the first part you deffinitly higher clearance but not 4x4. This road will take you to 77.
