2012 Tacoma replaced the battery, alarm still kept going off. saw on line to put key in door lock and turn twice to the left than twice to the right. that seemed to work for a few days, but today when I got into the truck to leave the alarm goes off again. the dash lights flash for a little bit but then goes out and it seems fine. Driving home the alarm goes off again. Get home and try the key thing again and it turns it off but this process keeps happening????

Ive been reading something similar on a different vehicle about the door light switch going bad and makes the dome light stay on. Maybe this is triggering your alarm? Just a possibility.

    +1
hate alarms that are not OEM

side note: in bikes it was the number one thing we looked for when the ticket said sputtering or engine shuts of then restarts on its own.
Now it is Fi boxes, led lights and HID crap that cause the issues....(poor installation)
    same thing in cars.
