    3" Toytec suspension lift
About a week ago I installed a Toytec 3" lift on my 2008 Tacoma. That same day, my new wheels arrived in the mail. I went to the shop to have new tires put on them, as it turns out I did not do enough research because the Summit Racing steel wheels I ordered did not clear my brake calipers. I immediately placed an order for some new black steelies from Wheelers, however they are on back order until late December. Heres the issue, now that I have to wait so long until I get my new wheels and tires mounted, is it safe to wait to get a front end alignment done or do I need to get it done now? Some vibration has developed, I do have the rear axle spacers and the front diff drop kit installed.

Well to anyone who reads this later on I have heard its not a big deal to drive it unaligned, will just wear the tires goofy. but Im ditching them anyway for new duratracs so who cares!

Why not just get it aligned? Who cares what wheels are on it, the angles won't change.
Anyone that tells you different doesn't understand simple geometry.

    Too few to list.
I find the springs settle a bit after a few weeks.

You are both correct I think.
Snowman-- I get a $40 discount if I do it when I get my wheels and tires mounted, so I figured why not wait it out? Still not happy with the guy from Summit who told me their wheels would clear my brake calipers
