I've been doing some research on LCA's and I've came to find out that the alignment tabs are prone to bending. I have to cut out and remove my LCAs here soon so while all the equipment is off what should I do? Keep in mind I have my own welder and a friend who is best in his auto class at welding. I don't see any bends yet but it would be a preventative measure.

    -Leave alone?
-Run bead of weld behind tabs?

.... I can't see purchasing and completely modifying my LCA mounts with the Total Chaos gusset kit so those are my two choices.

If I ever decided to use a gusset kit can the bead welds just be grinded flat pretty easily?
