    I have read most of the install threads and watched most of the YouTube install videos and I am pretty confused. I have a 2013 Double cab base 4 Cyl non prewired. Ordered a kit from EBay and like them all, they come with no instructions. I understand the fog light install in the bezels, ground wire up front. Then the Fog harness ends with a red wire with a connector. Then the switch harness has the relay and fuse and switch connector. Looks like I will pull the single red wire from the fog harness through the firewall and then the switch harness with relay and fuse will go under the dash. My question is that I haven’t seen a harness with a white wire and Brown wire in any threads or videos. Where do I connect them? I know to take the black wire to ground.

    First off, I’m not the best with my electrical knowledge.
    Take my advice cautiously and at your own risk.
    You really should use good Volt/Ohm meter for testing.

    Can you give us a better picture of the wires coming from the fuse?
    And a description of were they are going?
    And while you are at it a picture of the relay bottom side and any info it may have printed on the relay.

    Now let’s try to figure this out.

    It looks like the Brown Wire to the Fuse maybe the wire from the battery.
    Then leaves the Fuse as a Red wire, goes up through the harness to the relay, Then Out of the relay as Red wire to the White connector.
    That connector looks to plug into the one on the Foglight harness.

    The White wire COULD be the power wire for activating the relay?
    Which MIGHT go through the switch (Green Plug?), then out of the switch as as a Black Wire to the relay. Which means you are running power through the switch.

    I say “ could and might”, because your Relay looks like it has 2 Red and 2 Black wires.
    It also looks like it has a separate Black for the Ground to the Relay.

    - Take this information at your own risk -

    From Battery to Fuse(Brown) ->
    Out of Fuse to relay (Red) ->
    Out of Relay(Red) ->
    Fog Lights

    From Key On Power to White Wire -> (Green Switch Plug)
    You could connect the white wire to the battery.
    I don’t advise it, it wouldn’t be fused. And it could be unintentionally left on.
    Which could cause the battery to run down.

    ————————————————

    Again, I am doing all this based of the pictures.
    I could Wrong, and have been before, so take this as a possibility.

    There are other members here much more knowledgeable than I.
    Maybe they can help you. And possibly see if my explanation is correct or feasible.

    I would highly recommend not using the red scotch blocks for your wiring connections tho.. that’s just asking for problems in the future

    Just a update. Well the above shown fog light kit ended up first with closer inspection to have a broken bulb and the lights themselves miss labeled and would not fit my truck. Contacted the seller from EBay and sent them back. Then ordered a kit from Amazon. This kit came with a reasonable instruction diagram and I had the lights mounted in under 10 minutes and another hour to tie everything down and except for having to go get the correct micro add a circuit not problems. The kit was very clean under the hood with no strange wires showing as I have seen on some install videos. Works great. Now if I could only figure out how to make them turn off on high beam. Don’t know if here in NC that is a law but have heard in other states it is the case.
