Sorry to beat your eyes with another towing question, but this will probably be the one and ONLY time I am going to tow with my 2020 Pro. I am in a bind and need to pick up material tomorrow morning.

    Thoughts?

    - 12' dump trailer ~ 2500-3500 pounds
    - 4 yards of playground mulch ~ 400-800 pounds per yard
    - 1/2 yard crushed stone ~ 1200 pounds

I know the Pro is 6700 pounds, I just wanted to see some opinions.

    Thanks!

Based on your numbers, worse case scenario you’re at almost 8000lbs. Over max, toooooo much weight. Make two trips and haul half each trip, problem solved. Or if buying from commercial retail have them deliver.

Yeah I agree with you on worst case. I would definitely get it delivered if they will deliver it same day. That is my hold up right now. Like you said, worst case I just make a few trips. Thanks!

    Assuming 3500lbs trailer
Only 2 yards at max weight of 1600lbs
And 1200lbs stones is 6300 which is barely within your tow spec.

Even though it’s a one time thing also think of some state laws you might be breaking involving brake controllers. Most states it’s 3500lbs for a brake controller. It’s one of those things that eh 9999 out of 10000 you will be fine. But all of a sudden get in a wreck or something stupid and your life is ruined with hundreds of thousands in law suits.

Rent a U-haul chevy with a V8 and a 10k capacity, one trip and cheaper overall on gas savings vs 2 trips depending on how far you're going and doesn't stress your tacoma transmission.

Added bonus you'll have enough power to merge onto the highway.

You will be fine. Get separate loads.

    3500 + 1600= 5100 lbs. Take two trips.

    3500 + 1200= 4700 lbs.
