Went to fetch a chair out of the pallet blind to put in another ground blind for my wife and I didn’t know if I should man up and get the chair or set fire to it. It has it all, snake skin, bees, rats nest and also a birds nest. I decided to man up.

Haven’t seen this guy in a month. He started coming in where the tree stand is hung. Maybe one evening next week........

It is in (cross)bow range. My wife is waiting for the big doe that is usually with this one...she had a nice doe yesterday come in, but unfortunately she still had 2 spotted fawns with her so my wife couldnt bring herself to shoot her.

I’ve been getting pictures of a doe with an ear that is cut just like that. I’ll have to share it next time I see her.

Expanded season starts here next week.
Went out for a walk about.
    Wasn’t impressed..
saw one set of tracks. Pretty good size but that was it.
    Few days old I think.

So maybe a walk Wednesday to see if anything has changed.
If not I’ll try to find another spot before Sat.

I went to one of my hunting leases today to work on deer stands and found this, a decent 10 pointer, I’m guessing a victim of EHD. The landowner said there was another out there but I haven’t found it yet.499931AE-047A-4D7D-8B57-04925552EAFA.jpg
