    neglect, mostly.
    this is going to sound super random and weird, but i was talking to an old man that runs his mouth about everything in the world today and a discussion on funerals came up. we both knew a person in the community that just died . . . . whatever! . . . he then said something i found very odd, but still made me think. he said that in some places in the world, way north like canada whenever it is really cold, they will hold off burying somebody till a warmer part of the year because the ground is so frozen so deep so they'll just preserve the body untill spring and then dig the hole. is that in anyway true, to any of you guys' knowledge anywhere in canada?

    I know that might be the weirdest question ever asked in here, and even though he was dead (pun?!!) serious, i still have trouble buying that story.

    True when there is 5 feet of snow on the cemetery it makes it very difficult to have a proper burial. The funeral home will store the body and coffin until springtime and there will be a separate burial ceremony.

    well that is very interesting and eye opening to me. Thank you. I guess it just seems like a wild idea to me since it's rarely below 15-20 degrees F here on the coldest winter nights. (ex - it's been 90+ degrees here today since 7 a.m.)
