Any tips on settings for this. It sounds just okay, not very punchy or full I guess. Kicker L7 10" sub is what it's pushing for reference

IMO you need a JL FiX.

    “Buuuuuut $500!!!!”

For real, a JL FiX on the Toyota factory radio will not only correct the atrocious OEM tune, it will time align and eliminate cancellation in the signal you use to derive LFE.

Bonus prize is the 10 band EQ you get on the output for each channel, which enables you to address things outside the OEM Treble/Mid/Bass center points, which I feel are poorly selected.

You’d need an amp for your door speakers with a FiX however.

Did you get your signal from the rear speakers? If so thats you problem, there is very little output from the rear speakers. Switch to getting signal from the front and you will be happy.

That I am not sure, it is a Mr. Marv box with a amp rack. Not sure of the dimensions but as I understand it he builds them to spec for the sub and available space

ok, so if its a marv box then its not the box.

There are a few things that it can be here so lets do some testing. Unplug one of the RCA cables from the amp and listen to it. If it sound the same or better then you may have the polarity flipped on one of the inputs.

ok so thats ok. Next up, what are you using to get your signal to the amp?

do you have a RCA - headphone adapter? If you do unplug the amps signal, plug in the headphone to rca and then plug that into your phone and play some music to see what your output is like that. If the output is great then there may be a issue in where your getting your signal (line out converter)

They kicker amp needs bass boost set to about half. You may need to turn the gain back down after you do that, but that will add the punch you’re looking for. That CX line was by far the most installed sub amp I did at my location.
