So I don’t care for the auto tailgate. I turned it off in the info center .. but then when I open or close it I feel a lot of the motor resistance .. it doesn’t release .. is that normal? Seems like the motor should disconnect - any help appreciated

Hard to say how it should feel, I know my manual has a "soft open" feel to it. It will do a slow/ assisted open. And just feels kinda normal when closing it.

doesn’t feel normal when trying to close it in manual mode it’s like I’m going against the motor
