Just installed my 8 gang Auxbeam switch panel but am not sure which fuse to add the add a fuse to.
The Auxbeam add a fuse is a 5A but none of the fuses under the hood are 5A. I tried a few of the spare ones but that leaves the Auxbeam on all the time even with the car not running.
The one I’m using now is the head lights fuse became I already have an add a fuse in the left head light so now I just added the Auxbeam in the right head light.
Problem is this only turn on while I have the head lights on. It’s not the DRL. This would not be a problem if I only added lights to the Auxbeam because I would only use that at night when I do need the lights on but I do want other things on the Auxbeam like the air compressor which would be good if I could run it without having to turn on the lights.
Any other fuses under the hood I can add the add a fuse. The only one I see is the 20A radio 1 I believe. Will this work even if radio is not on or is there any other fuse to tap into that is on when the car runs but off when it doesn’t?

20A Radio is always hot (battery), not an IGN/ACC fuse.

I just installed my 8 panel switch from Caliraised. I connected into a blank hot (S/Htr) in the fuse panel under the hood. From that placed an inline fuse of 5 amps one end connected to the load and on the other end I attached to the 2 leads (Black&Blue)from the mechanical off/on button that came with the relay harness of the ditch lights I was installing. Then I connected the white wire from the switch to the hot/small red wire coming from the panel that powers the on/off buttons inside the cab. Ran the button switch wiring into the cab and velcrowed it down by the jam/foot well. I didn't want to attach to an ACC spot because if camping at night and I need to turn on some lights, I didn't want to hear the dinging from the door being left open or a window down to shut the door (bugs) . Locked my keys in a vehicle once doing something like that. Depressed though because before I purchased the premium rack with 360 lighting from Caliraised, I watched a video of an install and the individual paired his side lights, and rear lights to a single runs so as to only connect to 3 spots on the switch panel for the 6 lights. Looked good to me until researching that the surround lights are 20 amps each and if you paired any 2 together your running 40 amps? Am I correct on this? The most you can run on any position 3-8 is a 20 amp fuse. Now you can load a 20 amp fuse in all 3-8 spots but the panel can only take 60 amps at a time. Positions 1 & 2 30 amps at the most. I can run a separate relay with a 40 amp fuse and attach the switch wires to the panel and run it that way but that seems to defeat the purpose of the 8 switch panel in the 1st place again crowding the engine bay with wires.
