Back seat won't open!

Tried to release the passenger rear seat back, by pulling on the strap.
Seat still locked, strap came out. Anyone know how to open without the strap?
It is a 05 4dr, Prerunner, Sport.

 

unbolt the seat.

 

I would try to put my hand down between the seat and feel around for the latch. Also feel around for whatever is binding up the latch.

 

Dealer said they would have truck for 2-3 days, may have to tear up the seat to release it. I went ahead and fished a little with a pair of curved forceps - caught the release and opened the seat...whew.
