I order the Bak Running Boards for my 2011 Tacooma double cab and they came in on Sat. They are about 4' too short of the supports. I was assured by 4 Wheel parts that they would fit. They advised me today that Bak is aware of the problem and is making new boards to fit. I have no idea how long it will take. Take notice that the 2011 double cab is different than the earlier models where the boats mount.

It appears to be all 2011 Taco's have moved the aft mounting holes 3.5 inches aft. More when I can confirm. If you are ordering Boards use the measurement of 70.5 as the minimum distance between front and back supports. The ones sent me are 67".

    I'd be going grrrr.

I have been taking my time deciding what to put on my 2011 regular cab. I think some manufactures know the hole location changed and others hoped it didn't

The holes have a threaded nut welded on the back side and are covered by a plastic insert you remove. They are for the factory supplied running boards. You can not access the 'backside" where the nut is.

I just spoke with the Bak rep. They told me they will refund my purchase and shipping. We are in Honolulu. They only have 67" and 90" tracks. The 2011 Tacoma will need a 70.5" rack to reach the three support brackets.
