balancing questions??

ok i have a couple questions.. im looking into buying a set of rims for my truck.. but will be keeping my original tires.. i can get my tires switched mounted and balanced for free at my work.. BUT they only have the wheel weights that crimp on the outer lip of the wheel.. i have these on my stock wheels and they look like garbage lol.. what are my other options?? can i have them crimp them on the inside lip?? or can i buy some stick on weights like used on motorcycle wheels.. any help is app.

 

Stick-on weights are another option - as they often use them on car/truck tires also. Some people have a fear of them falling off. And - you don't want to 'stack them' because they're more likely to come off and/or come in contact with brake calipers.

So what do most tire shops use? Just the crimp ones and put them on the inside lip. I just wanna make sure there done right. I would rather pay and get it done right that half ads for free

As far as the stick ins there pretty solid. Figure they don't fling off my bike rim at say 140 150. Maybe the salt and stuff during the winter might weaken the adhesive

 

put them on the inside, i used the stick on weights and put a piece of gorilla duck tape over the stacked weights.
