My '14 came without fogs. Dealer said headlights alone would be plenty bright enough, but now I want to get 'em just cause they look cool. Can anyone recommend a brand or particular place I could order some up?

Do you have a V6 or 4 cylinder?

    Aftermarket (cheap) or OEM?

You can buy OEM housings on TW all the time for $60 shipped or less - but if you don't have a V6 there's not much point to. You'll need an entire install kit with wiring harnesses, relays, switch, etc,.

It is a 4cyl; I know I'll need the entire kit, relay, harness etc. but that's fine, cause I really like tinkering with stuff.

Want to go aftermarket. Dealer said they'd do it for over a thousand bucks!

Aftermarket is lower quality housings and questionable wiring harness.

Your dealer charging you $1k to install them is them trying to rip you off.

Aftermarket kits can be had as low as $40, which should give you an idea of their quality.

I just installed the oem fog lights on my 2014 Tacoma 4 cyl. Pretty straight forward, the hardest part was finding the right wires under the dash to splice into. All wires are specifically color coded so after finding that out...easy.

I installed Spyder aftermarket fogs in my 2015, mated to an OEM switch (the Spyder switch was poor quality), wired to be on anytime ignition is on (fuse tap). Factory switch plugged right in to the Spyder harness.
