    air bags for camper hauling
Greetings Everyone, Wound up here while I was trying to get some information regarding starter removal on my 97 Tacoma X-Cab 4WD. Engine is the 2.7 liter, 5 speed tranny, AC, Toyota Green in excellent condition. Bought it in 99 with 58,000 miles for 15 grand. Guy I worked with was up to his ass in debt and struggling to make payments so I paid it off at his CU and took the title. This has been the best truck I have ever owned. The only problems have been worn starter contacts, worn fan clutch and a leaky exhaust manifold gasket since 99. I have also replaced a wiper switch and had the injectors cleaned. I am retired Navy vet and use the truck to haul my small camper to my favorite fishing and camping spots in Oregon and the Southwestern US. I always take care of my vehicles and make any repairs ASAP. Anyway, I found a very nice contribution from one of the members regarding starter rebuilding and removal. It has saved me a lot of grief and money. Thanks from Kenny C. in Oregon.:):):):):):):)
