Just ordered the N2. Probably won’t use it much, but nice to have when the occasion arises.

I thought the same thing about the app. After realizing how shitty the range was on the fob guess what I went back in and added a few months later? So much more convenient. No guessing if you're truck started or not. Spend the extra and get the module IMO.

It really isn't and if waiting for warranty to be over (which our hardware does NOT void - Toyota dealership buy from us), then modding isn't for you, and this forum will give you anxiety! :D
    Gotta start somewhere!

...aaaaaaand you already have gotten tracking. Goes out today. 2-day.

We run the reports, 8 out of 10 that did not purchase it as first, return for the smart module add-on within one week to 3 months. For those with poor signal, there is always the long range RF kit that can give you the ability to lock/unlock/start/stop from a half mile range and the fobs have 2-way feedback meaning there is a visual (Green/Red LED) indication and distinct audible sound if the button press made it to the vehicle or not. Draw back is another fob to carry around granted the fob has a small profile, it hasn't been an issue for anyone.

The best part is this, depending on who your insurance provider is, there can be a discount anywhere from $10 - $20 a month for mentioning you have a GPS tracking device. At that rate, your add on will have been paid off in a year or so, then the rest is money in your pocket!

Sending you some stickers today. They normally aren't included because they get ruffled up in the kit during shipment.

    awesome!

Watched the YouTube video first, then had it hooked up and programmed a few minutes later. Tucking the wires cleanly was the most difficult part of the installation.

Yep first thing I put on mine wasn't willing to cut any wires - works great! Still not crazy about it shutting off when you open the door but they said no way around it at the moment although something is "in the works" whatever that means :broccoli:

I believe it and it's worth every penny. I bought both last year thinking I would use it just for winter to de ice the windshield before I head to work and i found that I use it just about every day in the summer and winter. The app starting is the best because I have about a 10 minute walk from work to the truck. 5 minuets idling takes the edge off nicely in the summer and 10 minuets idling leaves me with a chilled vehicle when I get in, if I remember to turn the temp down before I get out in the morning. This and the upgraded speakers from the upgrade for under $250 thread have been my absolutely favorite everyday use mods for this truck.

I believe the N2 one is plug and play except it requires you to snip a single wire and connect the ends into their system, while the Accessorides is all plug and play.

The level of attention you will receive from @N2DesignsInc is unbelievable. Any questions or concerns will be taken care of. He answered my phone call in the middle of a gawd damn fire out there.

I had another question/concern a day later and he called back again. We chit-chatted for a while even after the issue was resolved. Good dude. I can’t imagine getting this kind of service from any other product.

I ended up going with the accessorides. It was more a thing of ease to be able to take it on and off with just being able to plug and unplug it. Since i use the truck for work im unsure of how long i will be keeping it and the possibility of using it again down the road.
