Hey my fellow peeps question for y’all here. I’m really loving my Tacoma but I’m very big on music and the way it sounds while I’m driving, any recommendations on a sound system that isn’t crazy expensive yet a bit better than the Tacoma factory sound blasters

Seems a lot of people do the Subaru tweeter mod and install sound deadening for starters, beyond that I don't know much but I'm sure somebody will have answers.

 

I would look into the Kicker KEY180.4 amp. It'll clean up the factory sound system with it's auto tuning dsp and provide decent power to your speakers. The 45watts rms x 4 will somewhat future proof your system should you ever feel the need to upgrade your factory speakers.

A budget and how much/what kind of an improvement you're looking for would really be helpful for providing more useful recommendations.

I think just installing the kicker key amp made the factory speakers sound pretty good! Start with that.
